The ready, set, stay position on UK car exports touted as a major win was nothing more than an agreement that the levels attained by free market capitalism should be maintained. The government will piggyback the success of entrepreneurs when it suits them, no word of exploitation.
Glastonbury made a splash of course, no one able to see the similarities and instead get up on high horses pontificating about the differences.
In reality the issues are the same from left and right. It boils down to free speech and government action. I have seen a lot of people say that hands have been washed and the left are allowed to say what they want with impunity. This is of course ridiculous as Mo Chara from Kneecap is facing charges and everyone is being investigated.
In terms of government action, the frustration held by the left over inaction on Israel is a mirror of the frustration held by the right over inaction on grooming gangs.
Because of this inaction the rhetoric on both sides has shifted into dangerous waters. “From the river to the sea” is as dangerous saying we need to “remove all migrants” or that “millions must go.” We know what you both mean and we left that kind of talk battered and bruised in the 1940s.
Into this fray steps out bold and courageous leader… would be a pleasant thing to say, but no we are left with Starmer. He who was the architect of the immigration policies we have today and would rather lock people up than listen.
I can guarantee you that the state, by action that goes against the wishes of the people and inaction when people are asking for something to be done is the root of our current misery.
The left, right dichotomy has people choosing different diets to show their allegiance to their side. Silly, culture wars nonsense while real, lasting damage is done by policy. Boring, triple stamped, order-order policy. That’s where we need to be looking and what we need to make accountable.
The UK has to have a system that works for people or these frustrations will move to small scale skirmishes and then civil war. The apparatus of that state is broken beyond repair. Reform will not reform it, just tighten the grip, the Tories are done and Labour are cluelessly holding on to power by virtue signalling and Tory bashing.
Only libertarians have the ideological framework and will needed to make the change. Make your voice loud and make it heard.
Everything in the past 15 years has proved us right socially and economically. We are the voice of reason and good governance, let’s have a bit more pride and an extra few decibels when we speak up. So speak, preach and convert, you’re right to do it and it’s the right thing to do.
